These are some quotes that Su Ann shared with me and others so I would like to share it with others too.

You don’t need a title to be a leader
Mark Sanborn

All of you have a giant within you, an inbuilt leadership quality, which carries the power to influence many things around you. You can choose to use it, or loose it.

No dream is too big for a human mind. Dare to dream, big.

The power of limitation is limited by your very own mind.

We need men who can dream of things that never were and ask why not
George Bernard Shaw

Don’t just ask why, ask why not?And don’t just ask why not, ask why?

Life consists in what a man is thinking of all day.
Ralph Waldo Emerson

An untrained mind cannot achieve much, while a trained mind can achieve anything. The key to completing anything with success is the power of your attention. The key to reaping the joy, is from your full participation.

Seek ye first the kingdom of heaven, and all else shall be added unto you.
The Gospel according to Saint Matthew

Stop dwelling on ourselves, empty ourselves of what hides our true nature, to be a vehicle and channel to the deepest Self and do work for what is real or true/for the Lord. Going with the true nature of the flow – problems will be resolved and relationships will blossom.

The tree which moves some to tears of joy is in the eyes of others only a green thing that stands in the way.
William Blake

When we are absorbed in the pursuit of profit, we live in the narrow world of the bottom line. In that world, our neighbors are only concerned about profit. Yet all around us is a world teeming with people, animals, organisms, and elements – a deeply interconnected environment that responds to all we do.

Love what you do and do what you don’t with love or full dedication.

Every minute will pass ever so quickly. In each thought, movement, action, do it with all your heart. You will find everything you do, full of meaning with each dedication.

People say, “What is the sense of our small effort?” They cannot see that we must lay one brick at a time, take one step at a time.
Dorothy Day

Just as ice when heated, becomes water that flows. In the same way, all of that locked up energy can be released. Poco a poco, little by little., To succeed anything, we need steady effort, one step at a time.

Chinese New Year!

Friday, March 9th, 2007

This year as always, we have the tradition of going house visiting (also known as pai nian) during Chinese New Year with friends. This year we have The Royal Highness, Mr King to organize ^o^ Wahahaha…

Mr King called everyone but I think we left out some so please forgive us. The most you can go kill the organizer. Mr King called us all to meet up in his house in Puchong on Saturday, 3 March 07 at 10.30AM. Unfortunately I was late due to unforseen circumstances which is Shirley refuse to wake up and it took her a long time to wake up. I was to give Kean Leng a ride but was late to pick him. It was then Shirley inform us that we should call a leng cai and she would immediately wake up -_-"

We reach Mr King’s house half an hour late which is 11AM. We were the last to arrive. Jeff was not counted for he has to work first then meet us up. Mark was there with Faye, Kevin, Woon Shen, Sim and Elaine. After we have pai nian at Mr King’s house, we head off to Ampang first. We went to Kevin’s house next. His mother feed us a lot. She made tea for us and also serve us a lot of biscuits. She also serve us bah kua and chicken fross. Shirley was so hungry that she nearly ate the whole box of bah kua. But she had a bit of help from Elaine. So, Elaine with Shirley added up is equal to big eaters. Hahaha…

Due to that, we head off to the famous Ampang Yong Tau Fu. We had a lot to eat. Shirley was in paradise for they ordered a lot of fried dumplings. She ate to her hearts content. Hahaha…It was surprise that a table full of girls can manage as well as the table full of guys. Haha…Our secret weapon was…Woon Shen ^_^

Once we are full, we head off to Mark’s house. Whoa…his house is damn nice. I was amazed. This is the stop where we all sat down and gamble till pockets went empty for some of us. I shared with Shirley a sum of RM30 where we lost all but gain back RM9 from Black Jack. Before that we were playing Russian Poker where Mr Bond played in Casino Royal. Mark could be said the overall winner for he win the most. He was the overall winner at King’s place also. So at the end of the day, he is the winner. Hahaha…Correct me if I’m wrong on who is the winner.

It started to rain while we were at Mark’s place so we have to start early to Woon Shen’s house in Klang. There wasn’t a stop at Kean Leng’s place for his parents are in Indonesia. Woon Shen’s parents we wonderful. We had dinner there where his parents went to book the table and have the food ready before we arrive at the shop. It was a delicious meal. Thank you Woon Shen’s parents! Mark had fun eating the pork’s hand. Before dinner, I played 4 rounds of Mahjong where I lost RM9 in the first two rounds but won back in the last two round to contra my money back. Thank you to Woon Shen to help me with the points for I have no idea how it works. Then his mother help me to win big in the last round. Thank you Woon Shen’s mum!

After dinner, Elaine have to rush off for another party. Before she went, we make our last stop in Senan’s house. Shirley and Elaine were happy playing with Senan’s dogs. They are huge. I think Senan might have train them to eat me alive…

We chat till Elaine has to go then we left. Before that, King, Jeff and Kean Leng had a try on the Panasonic massaging chair in Senan’s house. King has the most hentai look and sound. I think the chair must have turn him on =) hahaha…Then Woon Shen was attack by Senan’s cousin or was he Senan’s nephew. Woon Shen was not really attack but the little boy suddenly start kicking and throwing punches that no one dare to go near him. It was Woon Shen who was advancing to the nice sofa that the little boy started self defense. hahaha…

It was overall a wonderful day but tiring day. Drove the whole day and Woon Shen leading to Klang was a day to remember as he drove so fast and doing stunts that it wasn’t easy to follow ^_^ Thank you everyone for a wonderful day!

A Beautiful Article

Wednesday, March 7th, 2007

A simple man tells how his booking an air ticket for his father, his first flight, brought emotions and made him realize that how much we all take for granted when it comes to our parents.

My parents left for our native place on Thursday and we went to the airport to see them off. In fact, my father had never traveled by air before, so I just took this opportunity to make him experience the same.
In spite of being asked to book tickets by train, I got them tickets on lufthansa.

The moment I handed over the tickets to him, he was surprised to see that I had booked them by air. The excitement was very apparent on his face, waiting for the time of travel. Just like a school boy, he was preparing himself on that day and we all went to the airport, right from using the trolley for his luggage, the baggage check-in and asking for window seat and waiting restlessly for the security check-in to happen.
He was thoroughly enjoying himself and I, too, was overcome with joy watching him experience all these things.

As they were about to go in for the security check-in, he walked up to me with tears in his eyes and thanked me. He became very emotional and it was not as if I had done something great but the fact that this meant a great deal to him.

When he said thanks, I told him there was no need to thank me.

But later, thinking about the entire incident, I looked back at my life.

As a child how many dreams our parents have made come true. Without understanding the financial situation, we ask for football, dresses, toys, outings, etc. Irrespective of their affordability, they have satisfied to all our needs. Did we ever think about the sacrifices they had to make to accommodate many of our wishes?

Did we ever say thanks for all that they have done for us?

Same way, today when it comes to our children, we always think that we should put them in a good school. Regardless of the amount of donation, we will ensure that we will have to give the child the best, theme parks, toys, etc. But we tend to forget that our parents have sacrificed a lot for our sake to see us happy, so it is our responsibility to ensure that their dreams are realized and what they failed to see when they were young, it is our responsibility to ensure that they experience all those and their life is complete.

Many times, when my parents had asked me some questions, I have actually answered back without patience. When my daughter asks me something, I have been very polite in answering. Now I realize how they would have felt at those moments.

Let us realize that old age is a second childhood and just as we take care of our children, the same attention and same care need to be given to our parents and elders.

Rather than my dad saying thank you to me, I would want to say sorry for making him wait so long for this small dream. I do realize how much he has sacrificed for my sake and I will do my best to give the best possible attention to all their wishes. Just because they are old does not mean that they will have to give up everything and keep sacrificing for their grandchildren also. They have wishes, too.

Take care of ur parents

The Perfect Husband

Wednesday, March 7th, 2007

Took this from a mail from Su Ann ^_^

Several men are in the locker room of a golf club.

A cell phone on a bench rings and a man engages the hands free speaker-function and begins to talk.

Everyone else in the room stops to listen.

MAN: “Hello.”

WOMAN: “Honey, it’s me. Are you at the club?”

MAN: “Yes.”

WOMAN: “I am at the mall now and found this beautiful leather coat. It’s only $1,000. Is it OK if I buy it?”

MAN: “Sure, go ahead if you like it that much.”

WOMAN: “I also stopped by the Mercedes dealership and saw the new 2007 models. I saw one I really liked.”

MAN: “How much?”

WOMAN: “$90,000.”

MAN: “OK, but for that price, I want it with all the options.”

WOMAN: “Great! Oh, and one more thing …..the house I wanted last year is back on the market. They’re asking $950,000.”

MAN: “Well, then go ahead and give them an offer of $900,000. They will probably take it. If not, we can go the extra 50 thousand. It is really a pretty good price.”

WOMAN: “OK. I’ll see you later! I love you so much!!”

MAN: “Bye! I love you, too.”

The man hangs up. The other men in the locker room are staring at him in astonishment, mouths agape…..

Then he smiles and asks: “Anyone know who this phone belongs to?”
